The Phoenix Chapter of the IUAA has established an annual college scholarship program to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students residing in Arizona and attending IU. A $500 scholarship will be awarded to an individual who best exemplifies personal achievement and dedication in the areas of academics and extracurricular activities.

Student athletes are not eligible for chapter scholarships per NCAA rules (this includes students with full, partial, or no athletic scholarship).

To be eligible for the award, the student must be:
a) A returning IU undergraduate of good academic standing
b) A resident of the state of Arizona
c) Assured of attending any Indiana University campus in the fall of 2010

Interested students must complete the scholarship application online by filling out the application below.

Additional Information:
• This application must be complete to be eligible for consideration by the Scholarship Committee.
• The recipient will receive a one-time award after admission is confirmed. Scholarship and funds will be sent directly to Indiana University. The student’s account will receive a credit toward their tuition.
• The Scholarship Committee will announce the scholarship winner at the IUAA Phoenix Chapter’s Student Send-off event in August. (Participation is not required but encouraged)
• All information will be held in confidence and shared only with members of the Scholarship Committee.

The Phoenix Chapter Executive Board will only consider information directly requested in this application. You will aid the board by giving as much specific information as possible on the requested topics. The awarding of this scholarship is conditioned on the complete accuracy of the information provided in the application.

By submitting this application, you hereby authorize Indiana University to release to the representatives of the Phoenix Chapter of the IUAA any information necessary for processing my application for a scholarship through the Phoenix Chapter of the IUAA.
